Welcome to The Well Café!

The Church Hall in Ingoldisthorpe is home to The Well Café, part of the ministry of St Michael & All Angels Church, serving a delicious selection of barista coffees, flavoured teas, hot chocolate and milk shakes plus a range of tasty home-made cakes and biscuits.

We first opened in 2022 seeking to provide the community with freshly served professional quality hot drinks and a space to meet. The café is an ideal place to get together with a friend for a cosy catch up; join with a group of friends for a chat and maybe play a game or two; take a quick break after a countryside walk, or maybe just to relax with a hot drink and a book. Take-away also available.

Opening Times

We open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9.00am - 12.30pm, except Bank Holidays.

Also, term-time Tuesdays - drop-in Youth Café 3.15 - 5.30pm

Room Bookings for Groups

During our usual café hours we are pleased to now offer the private use of the adjacent committee room within the Church Hall for pre-booked groups of 10 or more. There is no charge for this. To make a booking please call Jane Wood on 07578 609336.

Location

You can find us ‘down the hill’ inside the Ingoldisthorpe Church Hall building, not far from Lynn Road.

Turn off Lynn Road onto Hill Road, signposted to the CofE Primary School & Church. Continue past ‘Ingoldale’ and ‘Grovelands’ and you will see the Hall on your right hand side - next to the red post box. Some car parking is available on site.

Facilities

The Church Hall has Wi-fi, parking and an accessibility ramp into the building, plus, in addition to the usual toilet facilities, a restricted mobility toilet room which also contains a baby changing platform. There is also a lovely green space outside to sit out in the summer months!
